The allegations against him were increased to first-degree murder around three weeks after his first arrest. “The bottom line is that premeditation might be inferred, particularly from simply the sheer amount of stab wounds that Tristyn Bailey had to endure,” State’s Prosecutor RJ Larizza said, justifying the decision to enhance the charges.
