The 3rd season of Sweet Magnolias is confirmed to have 10 episodes. The feel-good series is all about childhood buddies named Maddie, Helen, and Dana Sue supporting each other as they face challenges in relationships, family, and careers.
Well, Sweet Magnolias couldn’t be complete without the magnolias themselves: JoAnna Garcia Swisher (Maddie), Heather Headley (Helen), and Brooke Elliot (Dana). It is confirmed that all three are making a comeback with Sweet Magnolias Season 3. Plus their kids named Tyler (Carson Rowland), Kyle (Logan Allen), and Annie (Anneliese Judge) are also confirmed to make a comeback.
Chris Klein who played the small role of the philandering Bill in season two of the series is likely to make one or two appearances in season three as well. Jamie Lynn Spears, who played the role of new mother Noreen, has also confirmed her return through her social media post. Brandon Quinn, who plays Maddie’s husband Ronnie has 50-50 chances to make a comeback.

It is too early to predict the story of 3rd installment of the Sweet Magnolias series. But one thing is confirmed the 3rd season has a lot of interesting things for the audience.
In one of her interviews, JoAnna Garcia Swisher who plays the role of Maddie mentioned that 3rd season would more than probably pick up “close to where we left off”.
She further added: “I don’t think you can come back months later and say: ‘Whatever happened with Helen?’ and ‘Is Justin in jail?’ Why not go big or go home?” The second season of the series ended with a lot of cliffhangers, leaving the audience in suspense and anxiety. At the end of season 2, all three friends Maddie, Helen, and Dana Sue were seen grieving the death of Miss Frances (Cindy Karr). Following the funeral, Cal was escorted away in cuffs. In the upcoming season 3, there is certainly something that Cal needs to reveal and a lot many other twists are waiting for the audience.
Unfortunately, there is no official trailer for Sweet Magnolias Season 3 and no fixed release date. All we can do is wait for a season three trailer.
