Singer Ingrid Andress was the target of harsh criticism for her “terrible” rendition of the American National Anthem on Monday, prior to the start of the Home Run Derby of the Major League Baseball (MLB) All Star Game .

The country music singer was in charge of singing the American flag before the best Major League players began hitting home runs at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Ingrid Andress went viral on social media for the way she sang the American Anthem, as she was out of tune in most of the verses, which caused a reaction from the public in the building.

At the first note that the singer was unable to reach, the audience began to shout in discontent, while some Major League players were surprised by the fact.

At one point during her performance, Ingrid crouched down and tried to resume her performance and prevent any more off-key notes from being played.

Almost immediately, Internet users made the 32-year-old singer a trending topic for the way she sang the American anthem, as the flaws in her vocal notes were clear and she was out of tune during most of her performance.

Others called Andress’ performance “the worst rendition of the U.S. national anthem” ever.

” Ingrid Andress just had the worst performance of the national anthem of all time ,” another Internet user noted after the way the singer performed on the Texas diamond.

” Ingrid Andress was absolute garbage in that National Anthem. What’s wrong with her? Shameful,” another user of X, previously on Twitter, said about the artist’s performance.

Who is Ingrid Andrees?

Ingrid Andrees was born on September 21, 1991, in Southfield, Michigan, but raised in Colorado, and is a country music performer, having success with her 2019 single “More Hearts Than Mine.”

Since she was a child, Andrees began learning to play instruments, such as the piano and drums, awakening her musical talents. She attended Berklee College of Music, one of the most important music schools in the United States.

Her career took off when she signed a contract with Warner Nashville and Atlantic Records in 2018 after she moved to Tennessee.

A year later, she reached the top of the country music charts with her single “More Hearts Than Mine”, which was a hit in the United States and Canada.
