Pamela Bach, ‘Baywatch’ Actress and David Hasselhoff’s Ex-Wife, Passes Away at 62

Pamela Bach, an actor best known for her roles in “Baywatch” and “The Young and the Restless,” was discovered dead in her Los Angeles home on March 5, 2025. She was 62 years old. Her family found her body and called the cops after not hearing from her for days.

The Los Angeles medical examiner’s office confirmed her death was a suicide resulting from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head; no suicide note was found.

Born as Pamela Ann Weissenbach on October 16, 1963, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pamela Bach began her acting career in the 1980s. She appeared in television series such as “Knight Rider,” where she met David Hasselhoff, leading to their marriage in December 1989. The couple had two daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley, before divorcing in 2006.

Along with performances in “The Young and the Restless,” Pamela Bach’s career featured prominent parts as café owner Kaye Morgan in “Baywatch.” She also participated in the 2011 UK reality show “Celebrity Big Brother”.

In her last Instagram post on January 1, 2025 Pamela said, “Watching her grow and seeing her smile light up my world is truly the greatest blessing”—thanking her family—especially her granddaughter London.

Declaring great grief over Pamela Bach’s death, David Hasselhoff asked for privacy as the family grieved. Pamela Bach’s children Taylor Ann and Hayley as well as her granddaughter London survive her. Fans and loved ones both will remember her career in television and her loyalty to her family.
