All That Was Different In Season 8

The Location

The current season was shot at a different villa in Mallorca than previous ones, marking the first time the program has changed locations between seasons since the third (excluding the winter series, which was shot in South Africa). The first teaser trailer including cartoon animations and tag lines from the program aired on 6 May 2022, a month before the start of the show. Several further trailers incorporating these elements were published in the following weeks. Show producers stated their goal of creating a “more eco-friendly production,” which included participants wearing pre-owned clothing for the first time, thanks to their collaboration with eBay.

The main villa, Sa Vinyassa, was located in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar; the adjoining Alchemy Villa served as Casa Amor, and the Shiva Beach Club in Llucmajor served as the Vibe Club.

3. Dami and Indiyah

During the first week of Love Island, Dami and Indiyah were paired off with other individuals in the villa, but by the second week, their friendship had blossomed into a romantic partnership. They went out with other single people throughout Casa Amor and eventually got back together. Indiyah says she is “grateful” she found true love on the show and the two are very much together.

4. Andrew and Tasha
