Lake Destinations in Himachal Pradesh

This is one of the beautiful and less disturbed states in India and is the ultimate place for nature lovers and for the people who are fond of adventurous trips. But surely one of the biggest attractions that centennial’s visitors will find appealing is the picturesque lakes that offer great opportunities for rest, discovery and shooting. 1. Dal Lake

3. Bhakra Nangal Dam

The Sutlej River is depended on one of the highest gravity dams of the word which is called Bhakra Nangal Dam. Other uses include operation of boats and other types of crafts in the water body, fishing, and even holding picnics with guests in close proximity to the water banks. 4. Pong Dam

5. Renuka Lake

Renuka Lake has been named after the goddess Renuka and is the largest lake in the area and is geomorphological in nature in the form of a stretched woman. It is a rather beautiful lake which is sited rather close to hills and it is a good ground where people can walk and have some leisure if they want to. It is also inhabited by wildlife sanctuary for different species of plants and animals. The attraction formally provides people with an opportunity to take a walk along the shore of the Lake Destinations and take a boat ride while enjoying tranquility.

6. Chamera Lake

This is located close to the Dalhousie town and it is a man made lake which is by Chamera Dam. The blue water of this lake is bordered by green hills, which indeed are a hotspot for water sports; especially water skiing and especially in April. So obvious that the view from the lake at sunsetting is quite beautiful that it attracts both tourists and those living around.

7. Khajjiar Lake
