5th Consecutive Defeat for KKR, Kuldeep, Powell, Warner take DC Home

Kuldeep Yadav listed his name in the record of second-highest wicket-taker in IPL so far.

He scalped four batters for his team in the match played between DC and KKR in just three overs including the captain of KKR Shreyas Iyer, Andre Russell, Indrajith, and Narine.

 

 

Kuldeep Yadav helps Delhi Capitals win their fourth game and move up to sixth place in the standings with eight points, while Gujarat Titans still stand on the top with 14 points. 

 

 

In the aftermath of being Player of the Match, Kuldeep Yadav said, “I liked Russell’s wicket as I set him up, it was my plan and when there were a couple of dots I knew he would step out.”

 

 

After Kuldeep Yadav’s amazing bowling performance, David Warner continued the momentum by teaming up with Lalit Yadav and scored 42 out of 26 balls. The duo stitched a 65-run stand for the team. But Warner couldn’t get a half-century as he was knocked out by Umesh at the 26th delivery.

 

 

Then Rovman Powell made sure that he gets the team home with his fantastic inning. He scored an unbeatable 33 out of 16 deliveries by hitting 1 four and 3 sixes in the match and made an unbeatable strike rate of 206.25. 

 

Kuldeep, Powell, and Warner help Delhi Capitals win their fourth game and move up to sixth place in the standings with eight points. And with six points from nine games, KKR stayed in eighth place after losing for 5th time in a row.
