Coming out of lockdown, many of us are looking around our spaces and wanting to make a change. Consider changing up your front entryway to better reflect what you’re aiming to project on the inside: not only will it make your place look great to the neighbors and anyone else passing by, but it will help inspire you to take a closer look at the inside of your abode and see what could be changed there as well. Adding flower boxes, planters, wall decorations, or changing up the color of the door and its surrounding area is a great place to start. 

You might also consider getting new doormats and accessories, or even redoing the stairs or the porch, depending on the style of your home. 

Don’t Shy Away from Bold Colors

Gone are the days of bland, impossible-to-match beiges and creams dominating the color palette of chic homes. Now, it’s all about bold colors and striking patterns. Don’t be afraid to pick wall colors that are bolder and brighter than you feel entirely comfortable with: too many people play it safe and end up with a boring room they hate spending time in. Using stone in the bathroom also lends itself to a natural aesthetic and sense of calm. It’s easy to clean but doesn’t look as shiny and square as traditional ceramic tiles.
