The 7th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) was a wonderful match played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on March 27, 2025. The match witnessed excellent performances from both teams, and LSG won the match by five wickets.
First Innings: SRH’s Batting Performance

Chasing a score of 191, LSG got an early blow as Aiden Markram was dismissed cheaply. But Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh stole the day with a match-winning combination. Pooran was in scintillating form, scoring 70 runs from only 26 balls, including six sixes and six fours. His destructive knock saw him score the fastest fifty of the season in IPL 2025, which was scored in 18 balls.
Marsh was a consistent contributor, scoring 52 runs from 31 balls. The 116-run second-wicket partnership between the two powered LSG’s chase. Even after SRH captain Pat Cummins removed Pooran and Marsh, the damage was already done. Abdul Samad’s late-innings cameo helped LSG cruise past the target in 16.1 overs at 193/5.
